Isaiah 1:20

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

a. NLT: But if you turn away and refuse to listen, you will be devoured by the sword of your enemies. I, the LORD, have spoken!”

b. NIV: but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.”

For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

c. YLT: And if ye refuse, and have rebelled, By the sword ye are consumed, For the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken.

d. Amplified Bible:  But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

1. “But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword…”

b. and rebel [4784 * marah] [Strong: a primitive root; to be (causatively, make) bitter (or unpleasant); (figuratively) to rebel (or resist; causatively, to provoke):--bitter, change, be disobedient, disobey, grievously, provocation, provoke(-ing), (be) rebel (against, -lious).]

c. ye shall be devoured [398 * ‘akal] [Strong: a primitive root; to eat (literally or figuratively):--X at all, burn up, consume, devour(-er, up), dine, eat(-er, up), feed (with), food, X freely, X in...wise(-deed, plenty), (lay) meat, X quite.]

d. with the sword [2719 * chereb] [Strong: from 2717; drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement:--axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool.]

1). Personally, I believe this prophetic word came to the leaders of Sodom and Gomorrah previous to their destruction in Genesis 19, more exactly immediately previous to the invasion of the Mesopotamian kings in Genesis 14.  

2. “…for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

c. hath spoken it [1696 * dabar] [Strong: a primitive root; perhaps properly, to arrange; but used figuratively (of words), to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue:--answer, appoint, bid, command, commune, declare, destroy, give, name, promise, pronounce, rehearse, say, speak, be spokesman, subdue, talk, teach, tell, think, use (entreaties), utter, X well, X work.]
