Genesis 13:12
Abram dwelled in the land of
Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward
Sodom.

to a place near Sodom and settled among the cities of the plain.

1). Lot chose
to live near the cities of the plain, of which there were 5 of them: Sodom,
Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim and Bela or Zoar. Four of them were destroyed.
a). Deuteronomy
29:23 And
that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it
is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of
Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger,
and in his wrath:
2). It seems to
be that Lot lived in all four at one time or another.

remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he
overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
