b. [And the] days [Strong: 3117 yowm yome: from an unused root meaning to be hot; a day (as the warm hours), whether literal (from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or figurative (a space of time defined by an associated term), (often used adverb):--age, + always, + chronicals, continually(-ance), daily, ((birth-), each, to) day, (now a, two) days (agone), + elder, X end, + evening, + (for) ever(-lasting, -more), X full, life, as (so) long as (... live), (even) now, + old, + outlived, + perpetually, presently, + remaineth, X required, season, X since, space, then, (process of) time, + as at other times, + in trouble, weather, (as) when, (a, the, within a) while (that), X whole (+ age), (full) year(-ly), + younger.]

b. [of] Terah [Strong: 8646 Terach teh'-rakh: of uncertain derivation; Terach, the father of Abraham; also a place in the Desert:--Tarah, Terah.]

c. [were] two hundred [Compound Hebrew made up of [Strong: 3967 me'ah may-aw' or metyah {may-yaw'}; properly,: a primitive numeral; a hundred; also as a multiplicative and a fraction:--hundred((-fold), -th), + sixscore.]

d. [and] five [Strong: 2568 chamesh khaw-maysh' masculine chamishshah {kham-ish-shaw}; a primitive numeral; five:--fif(-teen), fifth, five (X apiece).]

e. years [Strong: 8141 shaneh shaw-neh' (in plura or (feminine) shanah {shaw-naw'}; from 8138; a year (as a revolution of time):--+ whole age, X long, + old, year(X -ly).]

2. “…and Terah died in Haran.”

b. died [Strong: 4191 muwth mooth: a primitive root: to die (literally or figuratively); causatively, to kill:--X at all, X crying, (be) dead (body, man, one), (put to, worthy of) death, destroy(-er), (cause to, be like to, must) die, kill, necro(-mancer), X must needs, slay, X surely, X very suddenly, X in (no) wise.]

c. [in] Haran [Strong: 2771 Charan kaw-rawn' from 2787; parched; Charan, the name of a man and also of a place:--Haran.]

1). Haran is not Canaan. Though Terah intended to go to Canaan, he stopped in Haran. It may have been that health reasons with Terah that caused the family to not go on to Canaan. Regardless, he died in Haran. Abram was 75 years old when his father died (Genesis 12:4).
