Now
his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover.

in the Jewish calendar when all Israel was supposed to appear at “the place
where Adonai chooses to establish his name” (Deuteronomy 16:2)—Pesach (Passover;
see Matthew 26:2N), Shavu’ot (“Weeks”, “Pentecost”; see Acts 2:1 N), and Sukkot
(“Tabernacles”, “Booths”; See John 7:2N) Not all Jews obeyed the requirement,
especially those as far away as Nazareth; but being observant and pious Jews,
Miryam and Yoseph went every year.”

three pilgrim Feasts Jews were required to go to Jerusalem were Passover, Pentecost
& Tabernacles.

thee.
