Romans 4:22

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

a. NLT: And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous.

b. NIV: This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.”

c. Amplified Bible: That is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God).

d. Young’s Literal Translation: wherefore also it was reckoned to him to righteousness.

e. Worrell Translation: Wherefore also it was reckoned to him for righteousness.

1. “And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”

a. e. righteousness [1343 * dikaiosune] [Strong: from 1342; equity (of character or act); specially (Christian) justification:--righteousness.]
