Joshua 4:1
And it
came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD
spake unto Joshua, saying,
a. NLT: When all the people had crossed the Jordan,
the LORD said to Joshua,
b. NIV: When the whole nation had finished crossing
the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua,
c. YLT: And it cometh to pass, when all the nation
hath completed to pass over the Jordan, that Jehovah speaketh unto Joshua,
saying,
d. Amplified Bible Classic: When all the nation had
fully passed over the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua,

passed over Jordan, the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying,

1. “And it came to pass, when all
the people were clean passed over Jordan…”

(shortened) goy {go'-ee}; apparently from the same root as 1465 (in the sense
of massing); a foreign nation; hence, a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of
animals, or a flight of locusts:--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.]
e. were clean [Strong: 8552 * tamam taw-mam' a
primitive root; to complete, in a good or a bad sense, literal, or figurative,
transitive or intransitive (as follows):--accomplish, cease, be clean
(pass-)ed, consume, have done, (come to an, have an, make an) end, fail, come
to the full, be all gone, X be all here, be (make) perfect, be spent, sum, be
(shew self) upright, be wasted, whole.]
f. passed over [Strong: 5674 * `abar aw-bar' a
primitive root; to cross over; used very widely of any transition (literal or
figurative; transitive, intransitive, intensive, causative); specifically, to
cover (in copulation):--alienate, alter, X at all, beyond, bring (over,
through), carry over, (over-)come (on, over), conduct (over), convey over,
current, deliver, do away, enter, escape, fail, gender, get over, (make) go

2. “…that the LORD spake unto
Joshua, saying,”

1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of
God:--Jehovah, the Lord.]
b. spake [Strong: 559 * 'amar aw-mar' a primitive
root; to say (used with great latitude):--answer, appoint, avouch, bid, boast
