Joshua 6:14
And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the
camp: so they did six days.
a. NLT: On the second day they again marched around the town once and
returned to the camp. They followed this pattern for six days.
b. NIV: So on the second day they marched around the city once and
returned to the camp. They did this for six days.
c. YLT: And they compass the city on the second day once, and turn back
to the camp; thus they have done six days.
d. Amplified Bible Classic: On the second day they compassed the city
enclosure once and returned to the camp. So they did for six days.
e. Septuagint: And all the rest of the multitude compassed the city six
times from within a short distance, and went back again into the camp; this
they did six days.
1). Clueless as to why the Septuagint says this in light of what it says
in Joshua 6:11 And the ark of the covenant of God having gone round immediately
returned into the camp, and lodged there.
f. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/Writings: They went around the city one
time on the second day and they returned to the camp; they did thus for a
period of six days.
