And the children of Israel encamped
in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in
the plains of Jericho.
a. NLT: While the
Israelites were camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, they celebrated
Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month.
b. NIV: On the evening of
the fourteenth day of the month, while camped at Gilgal on the plains of
Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover.
c. YLT: And the sons of
Israel encamp in Gilgal, and make the passover on the fourteenth day of the
month, at evening, in the plains of Jericho;

2. “…and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in
the plains of Jericho.”
