That all
the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty:
that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

1). I do not know Hebrew but looking at the Hebrew
text for a while I could not find this word, but Strong says its in there so I
included it.

1). I can’t help but interject a New Testament element
here of one of the purposes of God’s name and powere being known in all the
earth.
a). Romans 9:17 For the scripture saith unto
Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my
power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
b). Romans 10:12-14 For there is no difference
between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that
call upon him.
10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
Lord shall be saved.
10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they
have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not
heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
2). A perfect example would be Rahab.
