Luke 16:25

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

a. NLT: “But Abraham said to him, ‘Son, remember that during your lifetime you had everything you wanted, and Lazarus had nothing. So now he is here being comforted, and you are in anguish.

b. NIV: “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

c. YLT:  'And Abraham said, Child, remember that thou did receive -- thou -- thy good things in thy life, and Lazarus in like manner the evil things, and now he is comforted, and thou art distressed;

d. Amplified Bible Classic: But Abraham said, Child, remember that you in your lifetime fully received [what is due you in] comforts and delights, and Lazarus in like manner the discomforts and distresses; but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish.

e. Worrell Translation: But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that, in your lifetime, you received in full your good things, and Lazarus, likewise evil things; but now here he is comforted, and your are in anguish

f. Wuest Translation: And Abraham said, Child, remember that you received back your good things in your life, and Lazarus likewise the evil things. But now in this place he is being refreshed and cheered, but as for you, you are in anguish.

1. “But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things…”
