Luke 17:30

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

a. NLT: Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

b. NIV: “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.

c. YLT: 'According to these things it shall be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;

d. Amplified Bible Classic: That is the way it will be on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.

e. Worrell Translation: After the same manner shall it be in the day the Son of Man is revealed.

f. Wuest Translation: According to the same pattern shall it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

1. “Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”

a. Even [Strong: 2596 kata kat-ah' a primary particle; (prepositionally) down (in place or time), in varied relations (according to the case (genitive, dative or accusative) with which it is joined):--about, according as (to), after, against, (when they were) X alone, among, and, X apart, (even, like) as (concerning, pertaining to touching), X aside, at, before, beyond, by, to the charge of, (charita-)bly, concerning, + covered, (dai-)ly, down, every, (+ far more) exceeding, X more excellent, for, from ... to, godly, in(-asmuch, divers, every, -to, respect of), ... by, after the manner of, + by any means, beyond (out of) measure, X mightily, more, X natural, of (up-)on (X part), out (of every), over against, (+ your) X own, + particularly, so, through(-oughout, -oughout every), thus, (un-)to(-gether, -ward), X uttermost, where(-by), with. b. thus [Strong: 5024 tauta tow-tah' neuter plural of 3588 and 846 as adverb; in the same way:--even thus, (manner) like, so.]

c. shall it be  [Strong: 2071 esomai es'-om-ahee future of 1510; will be:--shall (should) be (have), (shall) come (to pass), X may have, X fall, what would follow, X live long, X sojourn.]

d. in the [Strong: 3739 hos hos, including feminine he hay, and neuter ho ho probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article 3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:--one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc.]
(to sit; akin to the base of 1476) meaning tame, i.e. gentle; day, i.e. (literally) the time space

e. day [Strong: 2250 hemera hay-mer'-ah feminine (with 5610 implied) of a derivative of hemai between dawn and dark, or the whole 24 hours (but several days were usually reckoned by the Jews as inclusive of the parts of both extremes); figuratively, a period (always defined more or less clearly by the context):--age, + alway, (mid-)day (by day, (-ly)), + for ever, judgment, (day) time, while, years.]

f. [when] the [Strong: 3588 ho ho, including the feminine he hay, and the neuter to to in all their inflections; the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.]

g. Son [Strong: 5207 huios hwee-os' apparently a primary word; a "son" (sometimes of animals), used very widely of immediate, remote or figuratively, kinship:--child, foal, son.]

h. of man [Strong: 444 anthropos anth'-ro-pos from 435 and ops (the countenance; from 3700); man-faced, i.e. a human being:--certain, man.]

i. is revealed [Strong: 601 apokalupto ap-ok-al-oop'-to from 575 and 2572; to take off the cover, i.e. disclose:--reveal.]
