Ephesians 2:17
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
a. NLT: He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near.

1. “And came and preached peace to you which were afar off…”
a. c. and preached [Strong: 2097 euaggelizo yoo-ang-ghel-id'-zo from 2095 and 32; to announce good news ("evangelize") especially the gospel:--declare, bring (declare, show) glad (good) tidings, preach (the gospel).]
d. peace [Strong: 1515 eirene i-ray'-nay probably from a primary verb eiro (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication, prosperity:--one, peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again.]
