Deuteronomy 33:16

And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

1. “And for the precious things of the earth and fullness thereof…”

a. [And for the] precious things [Strongs: 4022 * meged, meh'-ghed; from an unused root probably meaning to be eminent; properly, a distinguished thing; hence something valuable, as a product or fruit:—pleasant, precious fruit (thing).] [Gesenius: something very precious or noble.] [AMG: a choice thing, the best thing, fruit and all kinds of produce from the land and heaven, it indicates precious valuables or gifts of all kinds.]

b. [of the] earth [Strong: 776 ʼerets, eh'-rets; from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):—× common, country, earth, field, ground, land, × natins, way, + wilderness, world.]

c. [and the] fullness [thereof] [Strong: 4393 mᵉlôʼ, mel-o'; rarely מְלוֹא mᵉlôwʼ; or מְלוֹ mᵉlôw; (Ezekiel 41:8), from H4390; fulness (literally or figuratively):—× all along, × all that is (there-) in, fill, (× that whereof...was) full, fulness, (hand-) full, multitude.]

2. “…and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush…”

[of him that] dwelt [Strong: 7931 shâkan, shaw-kan'; a primitive root (apparently akin (by transmission) to H7901 through the idea of lodging; compare H5531, H7925); to reside or permanently stay (literally or figuratively):—abide, continue, (cause to, make to) dwell(-er), have habitation, inhabit, lay, place, (cause to) remain, rest, set (up).]

d. It is God’s will that Israel experience the blessings of the earth, on the surface and underneath.

3. “...let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.”
