1 Timothy 6:5

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

a. ASV: Wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.
  
b. YLT: Wranglings of men wholly corrupted in mind, and destitute of the truth, supposing the piety to be gain; depart from such;
d. Amplified Bible Classic: And protracted wrangling and wearing discussion and perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness or righteousness is a [c]source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. From such withdraw.
1. “Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth…”

a. Perverse disputings [Strong: 3859 paradiatribḗ, par-ad-ee-at-ree-bay'; from a compound of G3844and G1304; misemployment, i.e. meddlesomeness:—perverse disputing.]
b. [of] men [Strong: 444 ánthrōpos, anth'-ro-pos; from G435 and ὤψ ṓps (the countenance; from G3700); man-faced, i.e. a human being:—certain, man.]
c. [of] corrupt [Strong: 1311 diaphtheírō, dee-af-thi'-ro; from G1225 and G5351; to rot thoroughly, i.e. (by implication) to ruin (passively, decay utterly, figuratively, pervert):—corrupt, destroy, perish.]
d. minds [Strong: 3563  noûs, nooce; probably from the base of G1097; the intellect, i.e. mind (divine or human; in thought, feeling, or will); by implication, meaning:—mind, understanding.]
e. and [Strong: 2532 kaí, kahee; apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:—and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]
  
f. destitute [Strong: 650 aposteréō, ap-os-ter-eh'-o; from G575 and στερέω steréō (to deprive); to despoil:—defraud, destitute, kept back by fraud.]

2. “...supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.}

a. supposing [Strong: 3543 nomízō, nom-id'-zo; from G3551; properly, to do by law (usage), i.e. to accustom (passively, be usual); by extension, to deem or regard:—suppose, thing, be wont.]
