Hebrews 5:2
Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
a. ASV: Who can bear gently with the ignorant and erring, for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity;
b. YLT: Able to be gentle to those ignorant and going astray, since himself also is compassed with infirmity;
d. Amplified Bible Classic: He is able to exercise gentleness and forbearance toward the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is liable to moral weakness and physical infirmity.
1. “Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way…”
a. [Who] can [Strong: 1410 dýnamai, doo'-nam-ahee; of uncertain affinity; to be able or possible:—be able, can (do, + -not), could, may, might, be possible, be of power.]
b. [have] compassion [Strong: 3356 metriopathéō, met-ree-op-ath-eh'-o; from a compound of the base of G3357 and G3806; to be moderate in passion, i.e. gentle (to treat indulgently):—have compassion.]

d. ignorant [Strong: 50 agnoéō, ag-no-eh'-o; from G1 (as a negative particle) and G3539; not to know (through lack of information or intelligence); by implication, to ignore (through disinclination):—(be) ignorant(-ly), not know, not understand, unknown.]
e. and [Strong: 2532 kaí, kahee; apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:—and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]
f. [on them that are] out of the way [Strong: 4105 planáō, plan-ah'-o; from G4106; to (properly, cause to) roam (from safety, truth, or virtue):—go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way.]
2. “...for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.”

4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
