Hebrews 9:1
Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
a. ASV: Now even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and its sanctuary, a sanctuary of this world.
b. YLT: It had, indeed, then (even the first tabernacle) ordinances of service, also a worldly sanctuary,
d. Amplified Bible Classic: Now even the first covenant had its own rules and regulations for divine worship, and it had a sanctuary [but one] of this world.
1. “Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service…”
a. Then [Strong: 3767 oûn, oon; apparently a primary word; (adverbially) certainly, or (conjunctionally) accordingly:—and (so, truly), but, now (then), so (likewise then), then, therefore, verily, wherefore.]
