Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

1). Looking at all the translations we can arguably sum it up by saying, part of following godliness is that we as the elect of God must acknowledge the truth of God’s word.
