Genesis 21:21
And he dwelt in the wilderness
of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

woman from the land of Egypt.

1). Some sources
locate Paran in the Southwest Sinai peninsula, while others locate it in Saudi
Arabia. We have to know that the beginning of the trek started in Beersheba
which is about 25 miles southwest of Hebron. It is most likely that the Paran
of which this verse is referring to is southwest of Beersheba not southeast in
Saudi Arabia, especially since Hagar got him a wife out of Egypt.
