Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

1. “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written…”

1). Jesus responded to the temptation with the word of God and with what is written. Here from Deuteronomy.
