Then Laban and
Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the LORD: we cannot speak
unto thee bad or good.

Laban and Bethuel replied, “The LORD has obviously brought you here, so
there is nothing we can say.

and Bethuel answered, “This is from the LORD; we can say nothing to you one way
or the other.
c. YLT: And Laban answereth --
Bethuel also -- and they say, 'The thing hath gone out from Jehovah; we are not
able to speak unto thee bad or good;
